Register your organisation

Starting an application costs nothing and commits you to nothing. TVCCL reviews every one of them, and no account can buy or supply until a person has approved it.

Before you start

What you will need

  • The registered name of the organisation, as it appears on the certificate
  • A work email address at your own domain, which is what we verify
  • The county you operate from
  • For suppliers, the categories you can actually supply

You do not need your certificates to hand right now. The next screen asks for the reference numbers, and TVCCL checks them against the originals afterwards.

One thing to get right

Use the organisation's own email address. Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook and the other free providers are refused, because a personal mailbox cannot prove you act for the institution. If your organisation has no domain of its own, talk to us and we will work out how to verify you another way.

  • Buyers pay nothing. Not to register, not to order, not per transaction. The platform is funded by supplier subscriptions.
  • Suppliers pay a subscription. No supplier can transact until it has been vetted and its subscription is clear, and both are checked every time.
  • Buyers pay suppliers directly. Money for an order does not pass through the platform.
  • A framework agreement fixes a price and the terms behind it. It never obliges an institution to place a single order.

The supplier fee schedule is still being finalised by TVCCL and no payment is collected on the platform yet. Registering and being vetted cost a supplier nothing.

Participation stays voluntary

Registering does not sign your institution up to buy anything. It opens an account, and each purchase after that is a separate decision that belongs to you.
After you apply

The four steps

You can leave the application and come back to it. Nothing expires except the verification link, and if that one lapses you start the application again to get a new one.

    Verify your email address

    A single-use link that lasts 48 hours. Opening it proves you can read mail at the organisation's domain, which is the cheapest real check there is against somebody registering as a school they have nothing to do with. The pilot has no email delivery yet, so the link is shown on screen the moment you apply rather than sent to your inbox, and the box it appears in says so.

    Supply your documents

    The checklist depends on what you registered as. A school is asked for different paperwork from a stationer. You give the reference numbers and TVCCL verifies each one against the original.

    Sign the agency instrument

    Institutions that buy appoint TVCCL as their procurement agent, which is what lets us aggregate demand and run a tender on their behalf. Suppliers and associations skip this step. The appointment can be withdrawn in writing at any time.

    TVCCL reviews and activates

    A person checks the application and either activates it or turns it down with a reason you are told verbatim. Nothing can be ordered or supplied before that.
