Member institutions are never obliged to order against the result. A framework sets the price and the terms; each institution decides for itself whether to use them.

These are checked before a bid is evaluated. Documents carry expiry dates and we track them, so a lapsed certificate will hold up a submission that is otherwise complete.
- IRA registration as an insurer or as a licensed broker placing with a named insurer
- Valid KRA Tax Compliance Certificate
- Audited accounts for the last three financial years
- Claims settlement record for institutional schemes of comparable size
- A named account team with a claims turnaround commitment in writing

Register as a supplier
Send us your company details and what you supply. We open a supplier account and issue a compliance checklist for this category.

Clear prequalification
Upload the documents listed above. Each one is checked and you can see what is still outstanding. Most first applications need one clarification, which is normal and does not count against you.

Submit before the deadline
Bids stay sealed until the closing date. Nobody sees a price before then, and that includes us.

Evaluation and award
Bids are scored against the published criteria and their weightings, and a single award follows. There is no price list afterwards, so this competition decides one purchase only.
